Goings on:
- Weather is cold and the shed got a decent snow for the first time this year. Danette got a day off. No photos but I had to shovel the walk.
- My companies’ Return to Office policy started officially this week. It’s not that bad – we have to go in 5 days every two weeks. I’ll do my best not to whine. If they would have dangled this in front of me in March, 2020 (or even April, or May or June of 2020) I would’ve leapt at it. But it’s not 2020, it’s 2024 and..well…I’m doing my best not to whine. It’s fine. I love it.
- Started a new sketchbook over the weekend with a drawing of the Werebear Community Center crew.

- Ling Ma, Bliss Montage, (2022) Short stories. Pretty good and some weird ones.
- R.F. Kuang, Babel, (2022) Fantasy. Excellent. Interesting magic system based on word origins. A little long but a good ending.
