Got a morning ride in. Hit the road around 6:45AM and it was already hot and oppressively humid. Ugh. Not sure if I was up for it this morning: just had no energy out there. But, whatever. I’ll be on vacation for a week starting Saturday so I’ll have time to rest. Time to button up the work week and get ready for our trip.
- Finished up the inks on my Shining Commonwealth drawing and really happy with how the piece is turning out. Colors when I get back in early August.

- Half Blood, The Ogre Gods Vol 2, Hubert & Betrtand Gatignol, 2016 absolutely gorgeous book. Unsurprisingly picks up where vol 1 left off. Brutal fantasy. Lots of fun.
- Started Foster by Claire Keegan based on a recommendation in the comments of George Saunders’ Story Club Substack. Mainly because it was available to borrow immediately in my library app.
