Got my first (only) morning ride of the week in today. I wanted to get up on Tuesday but I had to go into the office and just didn’t want to stress about the commute and being late for work. Sure, I could’ve got up even earlier but there’s only so much I can take. Of course, I was the first one to the office and the rest of my team was a little late…so…maybe I just should’ve just did my ride and not stress about little things like being on time for work (sarcasm…I think).
Random stuff:
- Got some inks done on my Shining Commonwealth drawing
- Getting excited for our trip to the UK on Saturday. We’re following the “One Bag” concept where we each just bring a single backpack for luggage. I’ve done “One Bag” for weekend trips but never for a week so I’m excited to see how it works out. I saw a video by the legendary PBS travel guru Rick Steve’s where he says, “you never hear from experienced travelers that they wish they packed heavier”.
- Spent most of Tuesday evening binge watching videos about “Dirted Tanks” on youtube. Basically fish tanks that don’t need a filter due to their balance of plants to clean and oxygenate the water and fish to fertilize the plants. I plan on setting a small one up in the shed when I get back from vacation.
- Watched the USA vs Netherlands in the World Cup. pretty good game. Love Rose Lavelle
- Got an idea for a zine based on the Sean McCoy’s Dungeon 23 idea.
