I woke up early to ride before work. Traffic better. Temperatures cooler. I can see the benefits of doing this in the morning, but I’m realistic about my ability to consistently wake up before 6 AM. Riding those waves.
Creative stuff:
- I’m making progress on a big, detailed drawing of chapter one of my D&D campaign
- Campaign work – Making maps and content to finish out Chapter 1 and getting ready for Chapter 2
Reading:
- Empire of the Vampire, Jay Kristoff – Finally got myself stuck-in on this book recommended to me by my friend Kevin. Vampire Slayer fantasy. It’s like if Kenny Powers wrote a vampire book.
- Ralph Azham (vol. 1-2), Lewis Trondheim: Trondheim got sick of waiting for Joan Sfar to write more Donjon comics, so he started his own. It’s good but not as good as Donjon.
- Vinland Saga (Volume 13), Makoto Yukimura: I also just finished season 2 of the Netflix anime. I love the anime, but I love the manga even more. It’s maybe my favorite ongoing comic right now.
